Welcome
At Rivendel Farms we use natural stewardship to protect the land, water, animals and crops that we love so much. As a family we believe that with just a little thought and consideration for the rhythm of nature and the abundance of life that God has entrusted to us, we can all have a healthier, complete life. We enjoy teaching those that want to learn, about the true value of farm land, how to bake with whole grains, cook with herbs and fresh garden produce and animal husbandry. The value of a family farm is not in subdivisions or shopping malls but for the sustainable foods that they can grow on family farms for generations to come. We raise vegetables, eggs, meat, herbs and flowers in season. You will also find homemade bar-b-q sauce , jellies and caned items as well as a whole grain bakery here at the farm most of the time. Starting in the May of 2010, you will be able to purchase these items at our market here at RIVENDEL FARMS, where we will also be showcasing local crafts and homemade items. So hopefully with the farmers market in Cadiz (limated times) and downtown Hopkinsville (wednesday and saturdays) along with our farm market you can gain the benefits of locally grown products and play a vital part in supporting a family farm for generations to come. If you can’t buy from us please buy from your Local Growers.
